The latest CKGSB Investor Sentiment Survey points to cautious investor sentiment in China’s A-share market in Q3 2026, even as earnings at listed companies have begun to recover. During the May to September 2026 survey period, respondents lowered their expectations for A-share market gains, reduced expected returns and showed less willingness to invest. 58.6% expected A-share prices to rise, down 5.2 percentage points from April 2026. The expected rate of return fell 1.8 percentage points to negative 0.7%. The pullback was sharpest for direct stock investment: the net proportion seeking to increase stock holdings fell 7.3 percentage points to 10.7%; the corresponding figure for equity funds declined 1.2 percentage points to 13.4%. Trading activity in China’s A-share market continued to rise. From December 2024 to August 2026, turnover ratios rose from 2.39 to 4.2 for the Shanghai Composite Index and from 5.84 to 8.5 for the Shenzhen Composite Index. Price-to-book ratios, however, rose only modestly—from 1.13 to 1.25 in Shanghai and from 1.93 to 2.4 in Shenzhen.
Mr. Hou Jinlong, Director of the Board of Huawei and President of Huawei Digital Power, stated in the opening speech that decarbonization, electrification, digitalization, and intelligence have become the long-term trends of global energy transition. However, there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the energy transition. Different regions and economies face varying and structural complex challenges. In regions with high renewable energy penetration, the focus is on system safety. In emerging economies, the focus is on ensuring power supply and reducing costs. In underdeveloped regions, the focus is on inclusive access to electricity. The integration of grid-forming technology with AI enables renewable energy to achieve low cost, high reliability, sustainability, and supply security. This provides a brand-new, replicable, and feasible solution for energy transition. Huawei Digital Power is committed to working with all partners to promote the vision of “grid forming everywhere and AI for everywhere” and build a healthy, prosperous, and sustainable digital power industry ecosystem.

Zhou Jianjun stated: “Electricity is essential for computing. Today, in the AI era, the startup, shutdown, and load fluctuations of a large AIDC campus can all impact grid operations.” He emphasized that as the penetration of renewable energy continues to rise, the power grid itself is also evolving, with local grid strength declining and volatility and uncertainty increasing. Future AIDCs must not only adapt to weak grids and maintain stable operation during grid fluctuations, but also support the grid and become a key “grid-friendly” node. Therefore, the integration of generation, grid, load, and storage has become an inevitable choice for AIDC development.”3+1″ Redefining a System-Level Grid-Interactive AIDC SolutionHuawei proposes a “3+1” system redefinition across three domains—Watt (electricity), Bit (digital), and Heat (thermal)—along with the construction model, to build a grid-interactive AIDC solution.

“The MP-14 Origin by Jeff Koons is a horological interpretation of creation itself: the moment where energy becomes form and form becomes time. It is more than measuring time, it’s about returning to its source. Motion is generative. A central tourbillon becomes the first pulse and everything else unfolds around it like a controlled expansion. It’s the idea of a Big Bang translated through engineered motion, material tension, and the physics of light,” said Jeff Koons on the collaboration.
The Classic Fusion Balloon Dog, inspired by Koons’s iconic mirrored balloon sculptures, translates the emotional language of inflatables into a radical object of horology. This unprecedented collaboration, limited to 200 pieces per edition, breathes new life into the iconic forms of Koons’ beloved Balloon Dog, transforming the sculpture into a captivating series of timepieces that redefine the boundaries of wearable art.
“Energy storage technologies must overcome two barriers to achieve large-scale deployment: affordability and availability,” said Dr. Nazar Yi, Chief Technology Officer of HiTHIUM. Sodium is abundant and widely distributed, supporting resource security and supply-chain stability. As sodium-ion material systems, manufacturing processes and supply chain continue to mature, sodium-ion batteries can move from an energy technology to infrastructure. Building on its integrated capabilities in R&D, manufacturing, quality and supply-chain development, HiTHIUM has transferred its expertise to sodium-ion development, from materials to station applications.”
